Angela Boggiano has travelled extensively throughout Italy, collecting regional recipes. Carla Capalbo was brought up in New York and has also lived in Paris and London. She now lives in Italy, where she continues to write. Jeni Wright is a freelance editor and the author of many cookery books, including The Patisserie of Italy, Sainsbury's Pasta and Tuscan Food & Folklore. Kate Whiteman's Italian grandmother instilled in her a love of all things Italian, especially food. She has been a food writer for almost thirty years and is the author of many books.
